Midwives are essential responders during times of crisis, working through extenuating circumstances often at the expense of their own families, to ensure the women in their care continue to receive expert care even in difficult times. This ability to continue delivering care under pressure and in the most difficult circumstances speaks to the strength and adaptability of our profession.”
